As you well know, our school and district have been hit by dramatic decreases in funding the past several years. The lack of funding has increased class size, forced furlough days and imposed cuts in enriching school programs.
I'm very proud to announce a new program that, with your help, can help us to reduce the impact of budget cuts. We have entered a partnership with Community Funding Solutions (CFS), a company that provides substantial and sustainable funding to schools and charities through real estate transactions.
The idea is simple: when you buy or sell a home through the CFS network, you can designate our school as your preferred charity and direct 20% of the real estate agent's commission to our school. Edward Kim from Keller Williams South Bay is a CFS-registered agent and has signed up as the featured agent for our school.
